To be a RareJob tutor, you must possess the following:
RareJob’s application process is simple and convenient. Everything is done online; thus, there is no need to personally visit our office. You just need to accomplish these five easy steps:
Undergo Assessment. You need to pass two tests: the English Proficiency Test and the Demo Lesson.
The English Proficiency Test is an online assessment divided into four parts: Conversation, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Comprehension. You need to pass each part within the given time limit in order to proceed to the next one.
For the Demo Lesson, you need to book a schedule that is most convenient for you. Further instructions on how to conduct the demo lesson will be provided.
RareJob offers the New Tutor Orientation Program. It includes Orientation Videos and a 55-minute one-on-one session with a RareJob Coach via Skype.
All lessons are conducted through Skype. Once a student books your class, you need to be online on Skype at least 30 minutes before the schedule. The student’s name, contact details, material request, and other preferences are all available in the website. RareJob has its own set of materials that you can use. These are also available in the website. Study in advance and be prepared.
If you have clarifications or have encountered a problem, our Tutor Support is always online to offer assistance. You can contact them through Skype, phone, or email. You can also study our SOPs and FAQs to know more about the system.
Open lesson slots and wait for the students to book it. All of your booked lessons (or lesson slots with students) are paid; unreserved lessons are not paid. The tutor fee is computed by multiplying the number of booked lessons you have conducted in a month by the rate per lesson
RareJob offers different incentives to tutors. Each incentive has a set of criteria. If you qualify to one or more incentives, it will be added to your total earnings for the month.
RareJob takes pride in having a good reputation for releasing tutor fee on time. The tutor fee is distributed every 10th of the month through direct bank transfer to either a BPI International (Bank of the Philippine Islands) or a PNB (Philippine National Bank) account. You need to open an account in either of the two banks using the endorsement letter provided in the website.
To ensure that there will be no problems, complete / submit the following requirements before the month ends:
